Today’s Friday Feature is the adorable Luna. She has settled well in her foster home after being initially nervous. She is still wary of strangers but once she gets to know you, she loves attention and likes to be close to you, especially on your shoulders!

She will let you know when she's had enough of being stroked with a little growl, and can be a bit sassy but soon comes back for more fuss! She loves playing with her toys!

Luna has only lived indoors but she would welcome the opportunity of a home where she can have access to a safe garden and explore the outside world.

Fostering is such a valuable role! It really helps cats recover and makes it easier for them to find their forever homes.

Many of the cats we bring in have experienced tough times or haven’t had the love and care they need. Living with a foster family indoors gives them the personalised attention they need to build confidence and get used to a regular life.

If you’re experienced with cats, perhaps from working with them or through volunteering, this would be ideal as we have many shy and timid cats and kittens who need lots of handling and socialising.

Today’s Friday Feature is Shadow who is a calm, affectionate companion who happily follows you around, offering soft head bumps and tiny murmurs when she wants to be close.

Her glossy black coat is beautiful but it is her sweetness - the way she reaches up for strokes, the way she settles nearby as if she's always been part of the home - that lingers.

Handed into a vet practice as a stray, she carries herself with the trust of a cat ready to love again.

Shadow is a healthy young cat, now simply waiting for the home she deserves.
