Wow, what an incredible night we had last night at our Death Café 🎉. People came together to discuss a range of different topics around death and dying over a hot drink and some wonderful strawberry and cream cake 🍰😋. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to join us - we hope to see you in November at our next gathering 🙏🏼 x

This Saturday is our July Walk & Talk for bereaved people at Dinton Pastures Country Park 🌳.

It's open to anyone who has suffered a bereavement and it's a chance for people to meet and connect with others who have experienced loss.

It's informal, there's no pressure to talk and we enjoy a gentle hour-long walk around the lake. We meet in the main car park by the coffee shop and will be standing there holding a poster so that you can recognise us.

We were blown away yesterday to the incredible response to our stall at Reading Water Fest . We met and talked to lots of wonderful people about subjects that can be difficult to broach - death, dying and grief. We hosted a mini Death Cafe with tea 🫖 and cupcakes 🍰 and the good people of Reading helped us to create a rather diverse funeral song playlist 🎶😄.

A huge thank-you to Reading Council for welcoming us and our stall to Forbury Gardens and to every single person who spoke to us and put their wishes on our 'What would you like to happen to your body after you die?' poll - an amazing 165 people placed their dot on the board! 😱🙏🏼.

We're all setup in Forbury Gardens at Reading Water Fest to talk to people about death, dying and grief! Come and see us, we've got a mini Death Café at 1pm and 3pm 💀😄

We are looking forward to being at Reading Water Fest 2026 this Saturday. Getting prepped for hosting two mini death cafes in our gazebo (sign up on the day) and chatting about death and dying with anyone who visits. Come and find us in Forbury Gardens 🙂 💀⚰️☕☀️⛺🌼🏵️🌸

A beautiful day today for our walk & talk for bereaved people at Dinton Pastures Country Park 🌳. A gentle stroll around the lake 🦢 chatting about loss and grief with others who understand 🫶🏼.
