A great session yesterday, very busy with lots of larger items taken. We were pleased to help a client who has had to throw away *EVERYTHING* in her rented property after extreme damp took over and spores caused health problems. We have been helping her secure the basics in her new home, somewhere to sit, bedding, plates, cups, bedside tables, lamps, rugs etc.

Volunteers were also able to drop chairs and other items at the home of a client from the refugee community who has recently been housed. We always need volunteers who can do a drop-off with items; most trips are in Reading during the day and only take 25 mins or so in total. This ensures a fairer distribution of larger items. If you can help please let us know - even one drop-off every couple of months would be very welcome. 💚

*Another sewing session tomorrow Tues 2 June 1030 to 1230; come along and we can set you up with a machine, guidance as needed and access to lots of fabric to make something great.

A reminder that we have a sewing session run by our volunteers from 1030 to 1230 on Tuesday 26 May. Drop by if you would like to create something - fabric etc is provided.
