Don’t worry, Charley, we all forget names sometimes…

Another one of our favourite moments from the latest episode of Behind the Sequins & Rhinestones, as Miss Charley O’llocks tries to remember the name of a drag performer she absolutely loves. We’ve all been there.

Catch the full episode with and now across our social media platforms.

Behind the Sequins & Rhinestones: Season 1, Episode 6 is out now.

PRIDE XTRA 2026: CHERRY ELIZABETH

Another huge thank you goes to the fabulous , who joined us on the PrideXtra stage at Reading Pride 2026.

Cherry brought so much fun and energy to the stage, but we have to give a special mention to that Little Shop of Horrors number. An absolute crowd favourite and definitely one of those performances we loved watching from the side of the stage just as much as everyone out front.

It was such a pleasure having Cherry as part of this year's line-up and helping us fill the PrideXtra stage with the wonderfully varied mix of performers that makes it what it is.

Thank you, Cherry Elizabeth, for being part of PrideXtra 2026 and for giving us a performance to remember. We loved having you.

WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO BE A SUCCESSFUL FENN AGENT?
We’re sorry. We had to.

In this clip from Writers & Worlds, Cecil Fenn and Madam Lether get into the wonderful world of literary agents, finding representation, and what Cecil hopes the next stage of their writing career might look like.

So, if there are any agents watching... we know a Fenn who might be worth a conversation.

Catch the full interview with in Episode Two of Writers & Worlds with , out now on Spotify and all major podcast platforms.

DO AUTHORS NOW HAVE TO BE EVENT PLANNERS TOO?

For the launch of The Restorative Artist, Cecil Fenn created an immersive launch event that went far beyond simply releasing a book.

But it raises an interesting question: with the way people discover and buy books changing, is there now more pressure on authors to create an entire event around their work just to get it noticed?

In this clip, and talk about the thinking behind the launch, what went into creating it, and the changing expectations placed on writers when it comes to getting their books out into the world.

Watch or listen to the full conversation in Episode Two of Writers & Worlds with Madam Lether, out now on Spotify and all major podcast platforms.

PRIDE XTRA 2026: MADAM LETHER

This year, we were incredibly proud to welcome Madam Lether to the Pride Xtra stage.

is a q***r horror author known for The Dark Scripture Cycle, Bonnie in the Machine and A Thin Line of Ash, alongside a growing collection of wonderfully dark and strange work.

And her appearance gave us something particularly special to celebrate. As far as we’ve been able to establish, Madam Lether became the first author in Reading Pride history to take to one of our festival stages and read from their own work. A little piece of Reading Pride history made right here at Pride Xtra.

But thankfully, our journey with Madam Lether didn't end when the stage closed.

We’re incredibly lucky to now have her hosting the Pride Xtra Original series Writers & Worlds, bringing authors and creators together for conversations about writing, storytelling and the worlds they create. The series has already reached audiences far beyond Reading and introduced Pride Xtra and Reading Pride to people around the world, which has been genuinely amazing to watch.

We couldn't be prouder to have Madam Lether as part of Pride Xtra, both for that brilliant moment on our stage and for everything she's helping us build beyond it.

Here's to one Reading Pride first hopefully being the beginning of many more.

Thank you, Madam Lether, for bringing your stories, your wonderfully weird imagination and so much passion to Pride Xtra.

BEHIND THE SEQUINS & RHINESTONES IS BACK!

Episode 6 is here, and with it we’re officially kicking off Season 1: Part Two!
We’re so happy to have Behind the Sequins & Rhinestones back, and even happier to have the wonderful Grace Anatomy and Miss Charley O’llocks back in front of the camera.

There are still plenty of questions left to answer, stories to tell and probably a little bit of chaos along the way, as Grace and Charley give us even more of an insight into the people behind PrideXtra.

So settle in, because Season 1 isn’t finished just yet. We’ve still got a few more episodes up our sequinned sleeves.

Behind the Sequins & Rhinestones: Season 1, Episode 6 is out now.

Please note: these episodes were filmed prior to Reading Pride 2026, so some information discussed may have changed since filming.

Wiser words have never been spoken.

We think might have just given us one of our favourite definitions of what it actually means to be an author.

This is just one little moment from Madam Lether’s conversation with the incredible Cecil Fenn, talking writing, creativity, death, the funeral industry and their debut novel, The Restorative Artist.

Watch or listen to the full conversation in Episode Two of Writers & Worlds with , out now on Spotify and all major podcast platforms.

A little Miss Charley O’llocks appreciation post.

This one is for you, .

PrideXtra simply wouldn’t be PrideXtra without you. From being one of our wonderful hosts to all the time, love and energy you put into everything behind the scenes, we’re incredibly lucky to have you at the heart of our little team.
You bring warmth, laughter, ridiculousness and a whole lot of purple wherever you go, and somehow manage to make even the most chaotic PrideXtra moments feel like home.

Thank you for everything you do, everything you bring, and for being such a huge part of what makes PrideXtra what it is.

We love you very much, Charley.
This one’s for you. 💜

Episode Two of Writers & Worlds is here, and Madam Lether is joined by author .

Before becoming a writer, Cecil worked in the funeral industry and trained in embalming, experiences that would later help shape their debut novel, The Restorative Artist.

In this episode, Cecil and Madam Lether talk writing, death, grief, the human body, working with the deceased, and how real experiences can find their way into fiction.

Here's a little look at their conversation.
