🎖️ A real privilege to attend a special reception in Birmingham today, an inaugural event celebrating those recognised for their outstanding contributions to sport in the 2026 New Year and Birthday Honours. It was very inspiring to be amongst such a diverse group of individuals, from grassroots heroes to elite athletes, but united in the belief that sport and kindness has a unique ability to build communities and empower individuals to achieve what once seemed impossible.

In 9 days, some truly amazing people will take on a challenging event that they’ve worked incredibly hard to prepare for. Through dedication, training, and plenty of determination, they’ve done a fantastic job getting to this point. 💪

We received a great donation from the Sporting Family Change charity this morning. 130kg or 21 large crates of breakfast cereal!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome some wonderful work experience students from our local schools.

Two of them, Harley from Norton Hill School and Ed from Somervale School, planned and delivered a fantastic gym session for a group of amazing women who we have the privilege of knowing.

They led the session with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism, and did an excellent job throughout. We’re so proud of what they achieved and wish them all the very best for the future. 👏💙
