Some key facts about playgroup
We operate with a ratio of 8:1 (that is 8 children to 1 adult)
Our preschool sessions run 5 mornings a week from 9.15am until 11.45am – these sessions are for children who will turn 4 years old in that academic year – places are usually funded by the education authority. Application forms can be obtained from playgroup the Christmas prior to the child commencing pres
chool year. There is a cost for snack/ cooking activities that is payable in advance. We have a maximum 24 children in the morning session with 3 staff and usually 1-2 volunteers/ students. We have limited places for children in their pre-preschool year, We admit children from their 3rd birthday 2/3 mornings , usually on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday at the cost of £10 per session. This is billed monthly and payable in advance. Playgroup have a lovely uniform – it is a Navy blue sweatshirt (with our logo), white polo shirt and navy jogging pants.
