Bake4Syria originally started in the Newcastle area and after seeing the success and amazing cakes being donated Bake4Syria was bought to the North West to help raise money for the charity One Ummah, who hand deliver su
pplies to Syrian Refugees living in the heart of Syria from Hama to Aleppo to the camps on the borders. With over 100,000 dead and more than a million forced to leave their homes in order to find shelter, food and basic necessities, it is no surprise that the situation is worsening in Syria. Men, women and children are suffering and it's obligatory for us to help. So what actually is going to happen and how? Insha Allah (God willing) we will auction off a cake each day for the rest of Ramadhan and raise a huge amount to send with the next aid convoy heading to Syria. 100% of donations will go to One Ummah. This event can only be successful with your help! So if you know anyone who bakes or can create a fruit carving please do get them involved! If you would rather eat than bake then why not get involved in the bidding for the amazing sweet things coming your way! :)
