Bha ùidh mhòr anns na clasaichean Gàidhlig againn am-bliadhna, agus tha iad a-nis deiseil – uile làn, le liosta-feitheimh math cuideachd!

Ged a tha na clasaichean seachad airson an-dràsta, tha sinn airson cothroman ùra a chur air dòigh san àm ri teachd. Ma tha thu airson pàirt a ghabhail, cuir d’ ainm ris an liosta-feitheimh agus innis dè an ìre a bhiodh freagarrach dhut.

💚 Tha Gàidhlig cudromach dhuinn, mar pàirt dhen àite agus dhen choimhearsnachd agus tha e math fhaicinn barrachd dhaoine ga h-ionnsachadh.

🌿 Gaelic is thriving in Wester Ross! 🌿

There was huge interest in our Gaelic classes this year – they’re now finished, and all places were offered to people from our previous waiting list, with many more still interested.

While this block has ended, we’re keen to create more opportunities in future. If you’d like to take part, join our waiting list and let us know what level would suit you.

💚 Gaelic is an important part of life here, part of the place and the community and it’s fantastic to see more people taking an interest and learning.

Are you a young photographer or visual storyteller passionate about people and nature?

UNESCO and invites young creators aged 18–35 to submit mobile photos or short videos capturing how communities and ecosystems coexist in one of the 784 UNESCO Biosphere Reserves around the globe.

Your story could highlight:
🌱 Biodiversity conservation
🌍 Climate adaptation
🧭 Cultural traditions
💡 Sustainable innovation..ideally, a mix of two or more of these categories!

✨ Selected participants will receive:
• Awards and global recognition
• An in-depth visual storytelling training camp
• Professional equipment to support their work

We’ve created new downloadable Gaelic prompt resources- now available to use! 🙌

In line with this year’s Seachdain na Gàidhlig theme - “Cleachd i no caill i” (use it or lose it) - these resources are designed to help you actively use Gaelic more often in everyday life.

You can use them digitally or print them off - whatever works best for you.

We hope to create more resources like this in the future - simple tools to support Gaelic in education, work, and everyday communication.
