Due to the snow and ice tomorrow’s race meeting at Tullyroan Oval has been postponed.

The venue is currently snow covered and frozen, and with the weather warning to continue for the next 48 hours unfortunately we have no option but to postpone. The safety of everyone attending is of paramount importance to us.

A rescheduled date will be communicated in due course.

DMC Race Promotions would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Portadown Unit held their Masquerade Ball event last night & what a great night it was. 🎉🙌🏼

We held this event to celebrate & reflect on the past year on how much we’ve grown as a unit, the success in completing courses, new volunteers, getting our new unit manager and new decor inside our building & much more!
We have as a team worked together to achieve a warm & welcoming hard working unit with a great bunch of volunteers! 💚

We held a massive raffle and the prizes donated from local businesses was absolutely AMAZING!

A massive thanks goes to - 🚑
Seagoe Hotel, Dj Jimmy, Marie Allen photography, Rushmere Shopping Centre, SSE Arena (Belfast Giants), Curry’s, & MANY MANY MORE amazing business for their very kind donations towards our raffle!

A big thanks to ALL organisers of the ball, thanks for the hotel staff, our volunteers and our volunteers friends and family for all the support we very much appreciate it! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

St John Ambulance (NI) are now recruiting new adult volunteers (aged 18+) across Southern District, with full training provided, including opportunities for 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗖𝟯 and 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗖𝟰!

We have a role for everyone, including First Aiders, Ambulance Crew and Healthcare Professionals.

'Give, Be Active, Connect, Keep Learning and Take Notice'. 💚 🚑

As tomorrow is World Mental Health Day we were kindly invited to take part in a special Five Steps to Wellbeing Fair in Portadown College - the day before World Mental Health Day. 🏫

We are alongside a range of sporting/leisure activities and volunteer/charitable organisations to run a stall over lunchtime in the College Assembly Hall to encourage students and staff to get active and give of their time to volunteer in our local community.

Aswell as providing medical cover at different events and attending training days we also get to support our local community 💚

Oops! We’ve been quiet on here lately! 😅

But don’t worry we haven’t been quiet behind the scenes. Covering many duties and planning our year ahead, aswell as welcoming some new volunteers to the unit!

Last night at unit training we built a real life scenario based evening using the outdoors and what a night it was!

Working as a team refreshing our skills and working to our skill sets to ensure our patient gets the best quality care! 🚑 💚
