❗️PARTICIPANTS NEEDED- DADS WANTED❗️Are you a UK-based father from a mixed-heritage/global majority/ethnic minority background?

I am looking to speak with UK-based mixed-heritage/global majority/ethnic minority fathers for my study exploring experiences of emotional help-seeking during the perinatal period (from pregnancy to one year postpartum).

This will involve an hour-long online interview about your experiences of fatherhood. You do not need to have accessed any support to take part; I’m interested in your emotional experiences as a new father and any barriers you may have faced in accessing formal or informal support. Your kids can also be of any age.

CALLING ALL MEN

Tomorrow evening we’re opening up our new contrast area for a special Contrast and Conversation session.

This is about creating a space where men from all walks of life can come together to reset, recharge, and connect. Expect the combination of sauna, cold plunge, and real conversation.

Spaces are limited so please register in advance so we can plan accordingly.

What a day!!! PALC closed due to a power cut at 2 pm. Thankfully we managed to relocate the finale to Torfaen adult learning at the settlement.

We done our walk & talk with our dads and welcomed our agencies and partners as guests.

Big thanks to Matt at Tidy butt for the inspirational talk and what the charity offers the community.

We then welcomed DR Klára Sabolová who is a researcher at USW. Klara had been doing some lifting research with our dads over the past 18months. Thanks to some of our guys who are keen to be involved in the most recent research.

Last but not least thanks to all our agencies and partners who attended and set up stalls to share information that is suitable for our groups.

And everyone loves a freebie 🤩😜😂
