Coast-2-coast day 6: Sennybridge to Afan Forest.
Really tough keeping the pedals turning today due to the sixth consecutive day in the saddle but we did it.
Reaching the top of hill above Afan (500+m) we got to see the sea in the distance which was a great moment and gave us some much needed motivation for the last 5 miles back to our bunkhouse & for our final push to The Gower tomorrow.
Big thanks to the staff at Bryn Bettws Lodge & Bike Park, Afan who have fed & watered us and helped out with soaking & filthy kit. It’s really appreciated.

Coast 2 coast day 3: Barmouth to Machynlleth. Beautiful route today taking in a bit of the coast, the estuary and the mountains. Knee busting climbs once again but some great downhill as well, which was tricky with a with a combination of ruts, loose rock and tired bodies. Now recharging after a great meal at The White Lion Hotel in Machynlleth.
