The Juno Project www.thejunoproject.co.uk The Juno Project works in schools, and our wider community across West Sussex, supporting young women with wellbeing and mental health.

Our mission is to enthuse, encourage and empower girls and young women. All our work is framed by the question, 'What are your gifts and how will you use them? Our vision is a world where all young women can develop the confidence, self-awareness, and empowerment to reach their fullest potential, share their gifts and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

We have a question for you: "How can parents raise resilient girls in the digital age?" It's not an easy question, but it's something that we have talked about in our latest blog: https://bit.ly/BlogResilienceGirls

For the last few years, we have worked with thousands of young women, both in schools and in the community. In that time, we have seen more and more of those young women lose their sense of self.

Something we often ask is: 'If you suddenly woke up and every single person in the whole world didn't have the internet or social media anymore, how would you feel?' The vast majority of them say 'relieved, happy, and free'.

Did you know it's National Volunteers' Week?

Volunteers are the backbone of every charity, and today is the perfect opportunity to recognise and thank our unsung superheroes. From our
Trustees, to our youth volunteers, they generously give their time, skills and expertise to help us make a difference.

A special thank you to Alex, Geoff, and Emma, whose support, guidance and oversight help ensure we remain focused, accountable and effective. Thank you also to Farida, our Youth Trustee, and Lilli, who have founded our Youth Advisory Board. We'll be sharing more about them and the fantastic work of the Youth Advisory Board later this week.

Finally, a huge thank you to our CEO, Sanchia. While employed in her role, she consistently goes above and beyond, dedicating countless additional hours to support our mission and the young women we serve.

Happy National Volunteers' Week, and thank you to every volunteer who helps make our work possible.
