🎨 Did you know that here at the Burrington Community Hub we have our very own Burrington Craft Crew?

Our talented crafters create incredible handmade items and regularly attend local fairs to showcase and sell their work. The group meets every Tuesday from 9:30am–12:00pm at the Hub, providing a friendly and welcoming space to get creative, learn new skills, and connect with others.

This wonderful group is supported by the Barbican Theatre, helping to bring creativity and community together.

If you're curious, crafty, or simply looking to try something new, we'd love for you to join us on a Tuesday morning. Feel free to come along and see what we're all about, or reach out to us here on Facebook for more information!

Plymouth Cancer Champions Workshop
This is a relaxed, informal session where people can come together to talk, ask questions, and find out more about cancer and the support available locally β€” whether for themselves or someone they care about.
The sessions are led by Kirsty, Cancer Champions Coordinator for the Plymouth Cancer Champions project funded by Macmillan.
You are very welcome to come along to the workshop, and after the workshop you are also welcome to become a Cancer Champion if you’d like to.
Being a Cancer Champion simply means having access to ideas and information that can help support everyday conversations about cancer, helping to make those conversations a bit more open and comfortable, and encouraging people to get symptoms checked or attend screening when invited. There is no expectation to be an expert or take on anything extra.
Whether you’re coming for yourself, a loved one, or simply to find out more, you would be very welcome. All are welcome.

PPCV SEND Conference happening Tuesday 30th of June at Plymouth University. It is an exciting opportunity for young people with SEND, their parents, carers, service providers and anyone with an interest in SEND in Plymouth to meet, question and learn from each other. You can drop into the Rolle Marquee to have an informal chat with groups and services who are there to support young people with SEND, and you can find out about activities. Or you can drop into the main building to listen to any of the presentations that will take place throughout the day.
