Growing together at Burrington Community Hub 💙

The 2025/26 Impact Report from Burrington Community Hub at All Saints Academy Plymouth shows just how much has happened in its second year.

From 3,122 engagements and 255 free community sessions, to 21,600 meals served, 40 new partnerships and more than 450 hours of community space offered, the Hub continues to bring people together in Honicknowle.

This year has been about more than taking part. Local people have become volunteers, gained qualifications, developed new skills and helped shape the activities they want to see in their community. 🌱

As the report puts it: “People don’t just want to use the Hub; they want to contribute to it.”

A wonderful celebration of partnership, connection and community. 👏

🎬 Lights, camera… Plymouth! 🎬

This Thursday we're at Burrington Community Hub again for a Green Screen Session with the brilliant iN House Visual Productions, as part of our Body Happy Belonging Programme in Plymouth.

Body Happy Belonging brings generations together, from little ones to older children, young people, parents and grandparents, to build a community culture of body respect, where everyone can celebrate, respect and accept all bodies, especially their own. 💛

On Thursday that means stepping into any world you can imagine, together, in front of the camera. No experience needed, just bring yourselves (and your family if you'd like!).

🗓️ Thursday 15th October
⏰ From 3.15pm
📍 Burrington Community Hub, Plymouth (by All Saints Academy Plymouth)

Thank you to National Lottery players for making this possible through The National Lottery Community Fund 💗

We are pleased to be hosting a Parent Community Information Event at Knowle Primary School, giving parents and families the opportunity to meet a range of professionals and local organisations who are here to offer advice, information and support.

We will be joined by representatives from Community Builders, Livewell (offering blood pressure checks), Citizens Advice, Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), PL5 Pathways, Timebank SW, Burrington Community Hub and EE. We are also hoping to welcome SEND Forum.

The event is a great opportunity for parents to find out more about the services available in our local community, ask questions and access support with a range of areas, including family wellbeing, health, finances, energy costs and additional needs.

We are committed to supporting not only our children but the whole family, and we hope this event helps parents feel informed, supported and connected to the services available to them.

Where: Knowle Primary School Hall
When: Thursday 15th October
Time: 14.50 - 16.00

We look forward to welcoming our families and working together to strengthen our school community!
