Today we've been clearing bramble roots from the path and laying new paths. We're here every Sunday 1-3pm (unless the weather is awful). You're welcome to join us. We stop for refreshments in Tulgey Woods Sanctuary CIC at the end of each sessions. We can kit you out with gloves, googles, hi vis jakets and tools.

A big thanks to our volunteers today! We planted an new apple tree in the orchard, finished moving the leaf mould pile, put up the new notice board artwork to celebrate the beginning of spring, and move a big pile of logs!
We're currently working on making pathways through the orchard using cardboard and woodchip but next Sunday we'll have some plants to put into some no dig beds. Come and join us, everyone welcome 1pm – 3pm.

Hey guys! Would you like to join us volunteering at the community orchard!?

Every Sunday (weather permitting) 1:30pm - 3:30pm.

We need your help to make the orchard a lovely place for the community.

Our winter work consists of developing the paths and people space, finishing off tree pruning, filing the leaf compost pile, habitat creation, root pulling and developing the design for planting in the spring.

Do as little or as much as you like, everyone welcome and much appreciated!

Celebrating all the young artists who took part in the orchard logo competition. Also a big thanks goes out to everyone who donated prizes and to local artist Brian Pollard for judging the competion and also donating his art work!

A huge thanks to the team at Otter nursery for donating a £150 voucher towards the Tippy park community orchard project! Looking forward to plant shopping in the spring!
