Dave & Tania Downie, Independent Budshead Community Campaigners A place to share concerns and keep updated on matters in Budshead Ward, Plymouth We have 4 children. I was a local Councillors for Budshead Ward., for 8 years.

About me - I am originally from Dunfermline, Fife, and moved to Whitleigh with my wife in 1999. Having lived in Whitleigh for over 20 years, I do feel passionate about the area. I am a qualified Youth and Community worker, and worked in the Whitleigh Youth Club when it was situated in Lancaster Gardens. I also set up an information and advice centre for young people which was based in the Communit

y centre. I volunteered at Woodlands school when it was on its original site on Bodmin Road and was a parent governor at Whitleigh Community Primary school. I became involved with local politics, when my wife and i fought to keep local bus services in 2011, and was elected to council in 2014. In recent years, I completed a degree course in Business management and am a qualified teacher.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to change the venue for tomorrow’s concert.

The concert will now take place at Mayflower Community Academy, Ham Drive.

The time remains the same, and you can still look forward to the same amazing music—all in support of a fantastic cause.

I have been told that the kerbstones on Shrewsbury Rd have been inspected, and are now scheduled for repair within the next 28 days.
