Sports day picnic time..

Final one for me after 12yrs of primary school parenting.

End of an era..

I’ll definitely miss all the amazing staff at my kids school.

I know so many of you are met with conflict and parent blame..

So I want you to know, that’s not ok, it’s not ‘just how it is’..

There are great people in this world, who do the right thing.

Don’t settle for anything less.

I’m sorry I’ve been quiet..

I still love SEND..
I will still keep fighting for my right to get on with my life..in peace..

I’m suffering extreme escalation and extreme truth at the moment..

When a client told me something a year ago, they couldn’t have been more correct..

“This is going to be something massive, it will just take time to come out..just keep going..”

So I did, and it has, and it is..

Massive..

I know why I’m being stalked, how, who by, and I know what the barrier is in me getting the right support from police..

Or more who the barrier is should I say..

There is no space and time where people teat me this way and sit around laughing, going on trips with my money, eating burritos and sipping on Polish beers..

No, way..

Anyway, on a lighter note..

I’m off to sports day to watch my kids, my daughter is in an exam and I’m still working hard to support families to negotiate, collaborate and build positive access and provision for their children.

If my page disappears..

I’ll be back, the shame is not mine, I carry none on my shoulders..

Sending out love to a very special person for this weekends adventures..

She won’t read this, but her parents might..

To You..

“Break a leg” as they say..

You should be so proud already, win or loose..

Because after years of tricky times, standing up for yourself when you didn’t even know why things felt so tough..

You haven’t given up on finding stuff you love..

Even though the world seemed so scary, you have continued to search for places you thought you might feel welcome..

All of you, not just the bits that fit into boxes..

Sometimes you did it in small ways, and sometimes through big adventures..

You are so brave, because each time, you didn’t know how this new thing would feel for you..

Now tomorrow there is one of those massive moments, created completely by you..

This adventure is all about your strengths and ability, the talent you have had since I first met you, and the joy you feel, just being you.

Whatever the outcome, the journey is so exciting..

It won’t be easy, you will have to be braver than ever before..

But what an experience..
