This is the era of technology. Our children are more and more immersed into their tablets, phones and game consoles. Whether this will be beneficial for them or not, only time will tell. Until then, we at One Common Goal, are set to help them disconnect from all these gadgets and connect with the nature for as much as possible. We are on a special quest to help the children discover and use their creativity and love for outdoor activities, for the benefit of the environment, their community and more importantly their future.
The following message will take you into the depths of our charity’s vision and mission. We hope that you will become as captivated as we are about this project and that you will decide to be part of our beautiful family.
The content of our projects will be divided into two parts for your convenience:
A brief overview and a more detailed version for those of you who will be interested to find out more about these projects and why we deserve your support.
Brief overview
One Common Goal’s first project is around the world's environmental issues and it gives all the children the chance to participate in addressing these issues caused by the climate change. A few special parks for children will be built around the city and as well in the vast area of Dartmoor National Park. The builders will be all our children.
2. All the children of Plymouth will be involved in a few special school competitions/activities, which will give the children the opportunity to craft amazing art sculptures and different creations of single-use plastic and which will be placed in various locations in Plymouth.
3. We are pleased to announce that the children of Plymouth will have the opportunity to participate in one of the greatest projects to date. This project will start in January of next year and we hope to be able to complete it before the Mayflower event. Two VERY large statues, representing a boy and a girl from Plymouth, will be built by us with the help of the children at each end of A38.
