The Plymouth Hub for Climate Justice was formed to support the COP26 Coalition (which included environment/development NGOs, trade unions, grassroots community campaigns, faith groups, youth groups, migrant & racial justice networks) and we've continued building a grassroots climate movement in Plymouth & surrounding areas to address Climate Justice. We organised the Art for Climate: Towards COP26
event in 2021, and every year we organise the Plymouth Climate March and Summit. We continue to promote genuine dialogue about the root causes of this emergency without obscuring the climate narrative, through collaborations and educational events. Social justice is inextricably linked to the issues of the climate crisis. Following the IPCC reports, we know we must maintain pressure on politicians and corporations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 8% annually from now on, with the goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2035, while strengthening our community. We are organised horizontally, our struggle is intersectional, and everyone is welcome to participate, individually or in groups. Join us!
