💚 Meet Karen – our latest Sherford Community Hero!

Karen has been part of Sherford’s community life for 8 years, getting involved in all sorts of activities and helping bring people together.

Over the years, she’s been behind some brilliant community moments, from supporting activities around the Tour of Britain, to organising Covid-safe Halloween trails and helping create fun for families across Sherford.

🎅 And if you’ve spotted the Sherford Santa Sleigh making its way around the community, you’ll know Karen is one of the people behind it! Now in its 6th year, the Santa Sleigh has become a much-loved Sherford tradition.

Karen also gives her time to support the Youth Hangout, run by Sherford Community Church, helping create a welcoming space for young people in the community.

A huge thank you, Karen, for the time, energy and enthusiasm you’ve given to Sherford over the years. Your involvement shows just how much residents can bring to community life. 💚

👏 Join us in celebrating Karen and all the amazing volunteers who help make Sherford a welcoming and connected community!
