ReWilding Lettoch

ReWilding Lettoch ReWilding Lettoch comes from our desire to step into the crises we see in habitat and wildlife loss.

Our dream is to help this piece of land recover and regenerate, involve a wide range of people on our journey, share our experiences along the way and hopefully reach well beyond this Perthshire hillside. Rewilding Lettoch comes from our desire to step into the crises we see in habitat and wildlife loss. Rewilding for us represents one huge and ongoing lesson about how to support what is here to r

ecover. We are but pupils of the land, learning when to act and when to step back. Plans may be written and ripped up, as, over time, we watch and adapt to what emerges; recording and monitoring along the way. Decisions will be informed by the habitat and wildlife that already exists under our feet, in the water and at the end of our noses. Rewilding is therefore as much a frame of mind and less about doing things to and for nature. It’s more about applying the lightest of touches to enable Nature to restore itself. We hope passionately that our Rewilding story sows seeds of interest and action among those of you who find yourself reading this from wherever you are in the world.

Visited the extraordinary https://bamff.co.uk/ at the weekend and had a wonderful encounter with their herd of wild Exmoor ponies. If you haven't heard of Bamff take a look at their website. They are doing incredible things and are a true inspiration for our little project.

Swifts have lost more than half their population in 20 years. A simple £35 brick in new builds could help save them. Labour used to support this – now they’re planning to backtrack. Sign the petition now to show them the public still backs this nature-friendly fix:
