We are all excited that our friends in Trinity Orchestra (including current and former HMS teachers) are performing a concert at Harrow Arts Centre, this Saturday 24th January!

The concert starts at 7.30pm with a pre-concert talk at 7pm.

FALLA The Three-Cornered Hat (Suite No. 2)
SCHUBERT Psalm 23
ZIMMER Earth
HOLST The Planets

Trinity Orchestra
Trinity Chorale
Conductor: Andrew Morley
Conductor (Schubert): John Wyatt
Leader: Christian Halstead

An exhilarating mix of rhythm, beauty and wonder awaits in this wide-ranging programme under the expert baton of Andrew Morley.

Audiences can look forward to the Spanish colour and flair of Manuel de Falla, the serene beauty of Schubert’s Psalm 23 (with guest conductor John Wyatt and the Trinity Chorale), and the atmospheric, cinematic soundworld of Hans Zimmer’s Earth.

The evening culminates in Holst’s ever-popular The Planets – a dazzling journey through the astrological characters of the solar system, from the fiery drama of Mars to the ethereal mystery of Neptune and the famous melodies of Jupiter.

Join us at 7pm for a free pre-concert talk for an introduction to the music.

Tickets are priced at £17 adults, £14 concessions, £5 under 18s and are available from the Harrow Arts Centre website here: https://harrowarts.com/whats-on/event/trinity-orchestra-performs-the-planets or by telephone 020 3773 7161
