It’s always a pleasure to attend the Pinner Rotary Village Show, a much-loved annual community event held at Pinner Memorial Park.
As ever, there was a great programme of entertainment, offering something for everyone. Most important, however, it raised vital funds for local charities that really make a difference to our community.
While the exact total is to be confirmed, I am thrilled to hear that around £14,000 was raised this year for charities such as St Luke’s Hospice and the Harrow MS Therapy Centre.
I was also invited to say few words and was grateful for the opportunity to thank Pinner Rotary members and volunteers for their hard work in hosting such a successful event year after year.
