This afternoon we welcomed Buchan Girls and Ladies FC Diamonds squad along with some of the Black and Whites for elite session.

Led by Coach Claire, the girls worked on 1v1 and 2v2 defensive principles. This was high tempo with high expectations and the girls improved with practice.

Working on being more physical when shielding the ball 💪 all while having lots of fun in the process.

A double rondo soon highlighted some communication and blame issues. Claire doesn’t do complaining or blame. We need to be accountable and work together. A wee chat and a few extra practices and the girls made huge improvements.

A shoot out finished by a game. A great afternoon with a great group of girls. It’s the 2nd time I’ve had the pleasure working with the Diamonds 💎 good luck in the rest of the season.

This morning we welcomed Buchan Girls and Ladies FC Black and Whites squad for an Elite session.

These girls worked very hard and was led by Coach Campbell. The session, focus was on 1v1 defending principles which was carried out with a high tempo giving the girls plenty practice to make mistakes and make improvements.

A shooting drill - because who doesn’t love shooting. Followed by a drill working on defensive communication. The girls then got a taste of 11v11 shape using a back 4 as they head to 11v11 next year.

For the limited time available the girls did fantastic and we wish them all the best for the season ahead as they progress to 11v11.

We had a great day at St Fergus primary school yesterday, the boys and girls are so enthusiastic. A pleasure to coach. Some of them were asking how to book into our October Camps. Meet the Peterhead Foundation team Coaches— Campbell Christie and Claire Batty who both hold UEFA qualification’s

Campbell is a known face at Peterhead Central School where he provides invaluable support for pupils working full time at the school. Campbell will be leading sessions at our October Camps.

Campbell has valuable experience from his time working with Dumbarton and Rangers Community and has recently completed his UEFA B course.

Claire works part time and is a familiar face with Meethill School, Anna Ritchie School, Central and now St Fergus.
Claire will also be leading sessions at our October Camps.

Claire brings a wealth of experience from her work within the Fraserburgh community, where she has played a key role in supporting the growth and development of football.

Both bring great energy, knowledge, and passion for supporting our community, and we’re thrilled to have them on board as we continue to grow and develop our programmes.

We are have some exciting new signings coming soon who will also be coaching at our October Camps…..✍️

Our Sports Kit for All initiative has been a huge success, helping make sport and physical activity more accessible to young people who may otherwise struggle with the cost of kit.

So successful, in fact, that our stocks are now running low, and Ian Kennedy is asking for your help to fill them back up! 👕👟

If you have good-quality sportswear, football kit, trainers or other sporting clothing that is no longer being used, you can drop your donations off at our Balmoor office.

Everything donated is added to our Sports Kit for All stock, allowing more young people to come along and choose the clothing and equipment they need - completely free of charge.

Ian is always happy to help anyone looking for kit and can also be found at various community events, making sure donations get into the hands of the young people who need them most.

So please have a look in those cupboards and drawers, something your family has outgrown or no longer uses could make a real difference to someone else 💙
