RockTech was originally founded in 1994 as a community music group and has a huge history of success! Now under new management, RockTech looks to relaunch; developing, nurturing and inspiring the next generation of the music scene in localities across Cambridgeshire. It is a fun, friendly, welcoming and nurturing environment for young people of all abilities and interests to develop their musical

abilities, knowledge, creativity and live performance techniques! RockTech is open to all genres of music. Each young person will be grouped on entry by genre rather than by ability. Each group will create their own band or collective and work as a team with professional tutors and musicians to create a set for performance at a live show. This model encourages enhancement of technical abilities, composition and original material production, peer to peer learning BUT... MOST OF ALL... a fun, non pressured, collaborative and all inclusive environment to enrich each young person, nurture their ambitions and facilitate happiness and friendship! RockTech is here to enrich the music community and grow talent for the future whether it be a hobby or a profession.
