Thank you for everyone who came to our film screening with last night of Our Land.

Beautifully shot. The importance of being out in nature and that being welcoming and accessible cannot be understated!

It was wonderful to see the Q&A afterwards and hear people’s views of the film and subject.

Exciting announcement!! 🎥🎥🍿🍿

Flourish Peterborough and Gateway Film Festival are pleased to announce the screening of Our Land.

This screening is free but booking is essential.

OUR LAND dares to tread where few have trespassed before, asking the timely question of who has the right to roam in the English countryside? The UK is a wild and beautiful place, but the vast majority of it is off limits to the general public, with 92% of land and 97% of all rivers in England not legally accessible. At the same time, it is a landscape shaped by centuries of inheritance and tradition, with land held and cared for by families across multiple generations.

OUR LAND takes us to the heart of the ‘Right to Roam’ movement as it embarks on a provocative trail of mass trespass, campaigning and education, while also exploring landowners’ concerns around environmental protection and the danger such widespread access could pose to a landscape already under threat.

Join us at St Mark’s Church Hall from 6.15pm we will start the film at 6.35pm.

This is a British Board of Film Classification (BBFC): 12A

Venue details:
St Mark’s Church Hall is a short walk from both the rail and bus stations. There is also a small car park to the front of the building.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a toilet which is accessible for wheelchair users.

All the rooms for the event are on the ground floor. This event is free but booking is essential.
