Superb session today in the Madoch Centre in St Madoes!! We had 9 new people!! 🥳💃 Thank you all for being brave and coming to try us out. It is only hard the first time, I promise you. We have 1 more session before the holidays so please come along next week to try us out.

Gannochy Tuesdays will restart after the break as well - put 27th October in your diaries. Don't forget to tell your friends - the more people the better!! 🙌🥳🎶

We welcome all women to our sessions! I found Singing Mamas after my children were at school and it has been a complete game changer for my mental health. It was originally designed with new mums in mind hence we are very accommodating to babies and small children. But I also find this makes us very suitable for those with long term chronic health conditions. We don't use technical musical terms, the songs are easy to learn and quickly become very satisfying to sing together. And singing has been proven to help with many physical and mental health issues, including lung health, chronic pain, depression and anxiety.

Singing helps us so much with life's hard times. As someone who's suffered with anxiety and depression, infertility and difficult pregnancies I really feel I'd come home when I found Singing Mamas. A space you could be with others without having to make conversation whilst doing something practical that actually helped. And we try really hard to make it accessible for ALL women. No matter where you are in your life. There's a space for you. So give yourself permission to come and let us hold you for a while.

This day was so fun and such a privilege. Katy Rose Bennett - music is such a brilliant song writer and choir leader, teaching a whole room of people who'd never sung together before 4 songs in 4+ parts in just one day!! I'm really looking forward to teaching my groups some of her songs. This one is very special indeed - perfectly aligned with the Singing Mamas ethos. 😍❤️🥰
