LOTS OF WONDERS IN THIS WEEK!

Wow, what a week it’s been.
Sarah on BBC1 again on Wednesday, the shop being, thankfully very busy, 2 paint deliveries, lots of new furniture arrivals from our talented team and all this whilst Alfie was off on a THREE DAY jolly playing bowls!
We’ve attached images of just some of our new items just in as well as a couple we’d like to highlight. We hope to see some of you here this weekend or sometime soon.

MUCH MORE THAN JUST A FURNITURE UPCYCLING STORE!

Although we focus heavily on furniture, we offer so much more than just upcycled furniture.
From recycled copper used to make jewellery and from old bicycle bits made into clocks, we have a wonderful selection of creative gifts available for sale in our showroom.
We also have a wonderfully stocked paint room that has everything you need to take on your own upcycling project as well as the free advice of experts with decades of experience.
Hope some of you managed to catch Sarah on “Money for Nothing” on Monday and Tuesday this week and she’s on again the coming Wednesday the 12th at 2pm on BBC1.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!

Wow, we can’t believe that tomorrow we will be 6 years old!
On August the 1st 2020, during a global pandemic we welcomed the first customers through the door and we are so pleased and thankful that there has been tens of thousands of customers visited us since then.
Since opening we have saved close to a hundred tons of furniture from landfill, taught hundreds of people how to upcycle and given advice to thousands more in taking on an upcycling project.
All of the above as well as having provided an income stream for well over 60 Artisans that upcycle or recycle new creations and we’ve also given over 50 offsite presentations championing the environmental and social benefits of upcycling.
We could not have achieved all of this without the support we have enjoyed from customers that visit here as well as the help in spreading our upcycling message through Facebook, Instagram and Sarah’s regular appearances on the BBC’s “Money For Nothing” Show.
We’ve attached a wee video of what we do as well as it only features creations available for sale in our showroom right now!

WHAT A SELECTION WE HAVE!

That’s our showroom packed full once again and we are hoping for a busy weekend.
We have close to 150 unique items of furniture available for sale with everything from a piano stool to an extendable dining table.
So if you are looking for that special item for a bedroom, living room or any type of room, we’ve lots of choice here.
We’ve attached some images of some of our newbies and some really unique pieces as well and hope we see some of you here this weekend or sometime soon.

WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!

Here at Tayside Upcycling & Craft Centre, we just love what we do!
We see new items arriving in daily and it’s always exciting to see what our talented team of Artisans have created from all the donations of furniture handed in to us.
This week we’ve lots of newbies in our showroom as well a new Artisan joining our talented team.
We’ve also sold lots of paint this week and we look forward to seeing our customers back here letting us see how their upcycling makeover looks now. Our new recycled ReColour paint is proving popular and we’ve attached an example of it used.
Attached also are images of just some of the many newbies we have in and hopefully some you can pop in this weekend or sometime soon to see them in person.

IT’S HOT IN THE WORKSHOP!

Wow, what a week it’s been and it’s hard work for our Artisans upcycling in these temperatures but that’s not stopped them creating some hot wonders.
Our showroom has been packed full this week with lots of newbies coming in every day. We’ve attached images of just some of them in the hope it will entice a few of you in this weekend or sometime soon to have a closer look.
Remember folks, the only day we are closed is a Monday and opening hours are-
Tuesday to Saturday- 10am to 5pm
Sunday- 11am to 4pm
Monday closed.

ALL SET FOR THE WEEKEND!

Wow, July already and into the 2nd half of 2026! How did that happen?
We’ve had another busy week here and amazingly, one of the busiest ever weeks for giving upcycling advice and for sales of paint.
Anyway, our showroom and paint room are jam packed again and hope we see some you here this weekend or sometime soon.
We’ve attached images of some newbies, showroom shots and some cute dog snaps in the hope it attracts you into visit us.
