We’re so excited to announce that Cohort 4 of our Healthy Hearts, Healthy Communities programme will be starting soon 💙

This free 6-week programme is designed to help you move more, build confidence, and try different forms of exercise in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you’re completely new to exercise, feeling a little nervous about joining a class, or simply want something enjoyable to do with a friend — this programme is for you.

Over the 6 weeks, you’ll get the chance to take part in:
✨ Pilates
✨ Boogie Bounce
✨ Strength & conditioning

✨ CPR awareness session

Everything is aimed at helping you improve your physical and mental wellbeing at your own pace, with no pressure and plenty of encouragement along the way.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the programme is completely free for all participants 🙌

Spaces are limited, so if you’d like to join Cohort 4 or find out more, please comment below or send me a message.

The timetable of sessions is attached below.

Last month, Issy and I were welcomed by Walton WI to guide members through a CPR session, helping them feel more confident should they ever face an emergency situation.

We made the session as inclusive as possible, allowing everyone to practise chest compressions in a way that suited their own abilities, whilst also educating members on how to deliver effective CPR correctly and confidently.

If your organisation would benefit from a free CPR awareness session, please get in touch 🤍

At the request of the family, they would like everyone to know that a total of £720 was raised at the funeral of the late Norman Moore in support of our heart screening programme.

It is also especially meaningful to remember that Norman celebrated his 80th birthday last year by asking for donations instead of gifts, raising a further £410.

This brings the total raised in Norman’s honour to £1,130 - enough to fund heart screenings for 15 young people.

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown, both in celebrating Norman’s life and in supporting such an important cause. Our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones at this difficult time. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Ullswater Way walk.

Although we sadly lost a few walkers due to the date change because of the weather, we still managed to raise an incredible £2,535 – which is absolutely amazing.

A big thank you as well to Sainsbury’s, Greggs, Robin Bardgett, and Ellen at Oliver’s Tasty Bites for providing such lovely snacks and lunch 🥪 🍰

We can’t wait to see you all again next year 💙
