🍎 A HUGE THANK YOU TO TESCO PENARTH! 🍎

We want to say a massive thank you to the lovely Lynda at Tesco for kindly donating a whole crate of fresh, free apples for the pupils at Ysgol Y Deri!

It was a wonderful, healthy treat, and everyone across the school that had one, absolutely appreciated them. 😋🍏

Our local community support means the world to us, and gestures like this put a huge smile on our stars' faces. Thank you, Lynda and Tesco! 🌟🛒

🌟 MEET OUR LATEST YYD PTA SUPERSTAR! 🌟

A while back, we shared our immense gratitude to Archie (from our Barry site) and his wonderful family for the incredible fundraising they completed for our school. The money they raised has gone directly towards purchasing some fabulous new items for the classes to use, and we could not be prouder!

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of catching up with Archie to present a very well-deserved Superstar Certificate. We were also thrilled to say Archies name will be proudly displayed on our 2026 Starry Board in the main reception at our YYD Penarth site! 🏆✨

We are so excited to announce that we have the wonderful Martine joining us at our upcoming coffee evening! Martine has designed an incredible app focused on communication, and she will be there to show us exactly how it works and how it can help our families.

It’s the perfect opportunity to grab a cuppa, connect with other parents who completely get it, and pick up some brilliant new tools.

We are holding our next PTA Meeting soon and we would love for you to join us! Whether you are a regular face or completely new to the school, everyone is incredibly welcome.

Come along for a relaxed cuppa, a catch-up, and a chance to hear about the exciting things we have planned for the school. It’s a completely informal space to share ideas, ask questions, or just see what the PTA is all about.
