❄️ Even in the heart of winter, nature doesn’t completely slow down. Most of Scotland’s insects hibernate or lie dormant, conserving energy through the cold months.
But some hardy species, like winter moths, emerge to fly on mild days, reminding us that life finds a way.
It’s a small glimpse of resilience in nature, and a reminder of how interconnected every species is, no matter the season.
🌱 At Solas for Nature, we celebrate these quiet moments, our aim is to protect the incredible diversity of life that keeps our ecosystems thriving year-round.
