Christ Church Parbold At Christ Church Parbold we encourage all members of the community to get involved with Church life.

In a beautiful setting, high on the hill above Parbold village, Christ Church is well worth a visit. It is a warm, friendly, welcoming church with services and activities for all age groups. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, there is a place for you here. The 8.00am Service, is a quiet and fairly traditional Holy Communion Service. The 10.30am Service, is a li

vely, joyful, modern, family friendly service with varied formats and speakers. The monthly Encounter Service, is a joyful, modern, evening praise service with varied formats and speakers. We like to make children feel welcome in our church and have a Children’s Corner at the back, containing toys, books, puzzles and craft activities for children of all ages and a recently added Lending Library. During the 10:30am service children of school age will be invited to go out to enjoy Junior Church or (during holiday times) invited to enjoy fun and games on the field if dry, in the scout hut if wet. There are also often activities in the crèche for pre-school children. Christ Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) and deputy. Hi everyone 😊

It’s Muddy Church this Sunday at 9:30am! We’ll be on the field if it’s dry, or inside the Hut if not — either way we’re definitely on for an hour of fun, crafts, and activities as we explore Lent and forgiveness together.

This week’s activities include:
🎯 Target games
✝️ Prayers at the cross
🥚 Egg rolling & painting
🙏 Creative cross prayers
👫 Acetate people
💧 Water bead prayer balls
🌋 Make-your-own lava lamp
✨ A cool “God’s light breaks the darkness” trick

We’ll also have:
• A special base for Year 6/7/8s and up (no adults allowed! 😄)
• A smaller, quieter space for tots.

All ages are very welcome and afterwards at 1030am we have our service for Mother's Day where there'll be the usual Resource Table, Lending Library and Tots' Area all with extra activities for the children.

Hi everyone,

You’re all very welcome to Muddy Church Sunday at 9.30am!

We’ll be out on the field if it’s dry, or in the Hut if it’s not – either way, we’re set for an hour of muddy fun, crafts and activities as we learn more about God together.

Our theme is “Greater Love”, and we’ll have:-

• Limbo dancing
• Dissolving sorry prayers
• Magnet prayer painting
• An expanding love trick
• Slime – love in the mess!
• “God’s love lifts you” – floating paper clips
• Praying with tree rings
• Making love cards to give away ❤️

As well, there’ll be:-
• A special base for Years 6/7/8 and up (no adults allowed!)
• A smaller, quieter space for the Tots

All ages are very welcome.😃

And of course… We’ll finish with fire and s’mores 🔥🍫
