Rot Residency case study

ROT was a four-day (31/08/26 – 05/09/26) residential gathering for q***r, disabled and neurodivergent artists working across sound, performance and interdisciplinary practice.

ROT brings together artists, performers, makers and thinkers for four days of collective living, experimentation and creative exchange. Together they shared meals, conversations, unfinished projects, strange ideas, walks, naps and moments of unexpected connection.

Led by two facilitators (Scamp Niemz and Joss Affleck ), the residency created space for artists to explore new approaches to making, collaborate across disciplines, and develop ideas through play, experimentation and mutual support.

Testimonial- “Meur Ras for being so open and accommodating for our residency! Spaces like this mean so so much for Cornwall, and it’s been so inspiring to see. I’ve had such a great time making and working with so many artists and brilliant people.”
