Massive thanks to Polyvine Ltd for the donation of wood oil to help preserve our new shed . We’ve started on the first of two coats which will help protect it for years to come .
We’ve also been busy clearing the brambles from nearby the shed ready for planting some spring bulbs .

WE DID IT !!!!!!
We have grown an amazing 1 TONNE of fresh vegetables this year.......
That's 1 tonne of fresh vegetables going to those in need.
This is triple what we did this time last year.
To put it into perspective that's around 14000 portions of vegetables..

We snuck out before the rain today and collected different leaves and flowers from our garden .
We’ve been using them to make gorgeous patterns on clay for decorations in our cabin ….. Watch this space for the finished product .

Our new shed has been successfully installed . Massive thank you to Just Fir in Par for supplying and building this lovely shed .
Well done to our woodwork team who have made this brilliant tool storage system inside the shed . Now, with clear signage we can store all our tools away perfectly .
We’ve made a little bench outside and will fill the planters with spring plants.
We’ve added a handmade bird box to the exterior, with guttering and a water butt to be installed soon.

Here at CHAOS at Eden we like to look after the planet, the people and the animals that inhabit it.
These pictures show just a small fraction of the wildlife here in our growing field. We have also seen weasels, rabbits, badger, deer, slowworms, grass snakes as well as hundreds of different mini beasts 🪳🦋🦡🦊🐍🦌🐇
This Sunday think about what you could do in your garden to help wildlife .... whether it is a pile of logs in one corner, growing some butterfly friendly flowers, leaving a small patch of nettles for caterpillars or building a compost heap. You don't have to have a large garden to make a difference, even a pot or hanging basket will do.

Did you know now is the time to plant your spring bulbs ??

We've been busy planting some bulbs in our Woodland Walk garden... gorgeous daffodils and crocus which will give us some bursts of colour in the spring.

With all this sun and a mixture of rain our grass has been busy growing fast . 🌧️🌦️
So we got out with our trusty electric lawnmower … it’s a lovely lightweight one which means it’s easy for our client gardeners to use . We then raked it up to mix up in our compost bays . 🪏

We had a bit of a cook off today … our client gardeners were given some fresh vegetables , flatbreads and garlic and were asked to make it into a meal . 🍅🥦🫑🌶️🧄🫓
They cooked up some of the tomatoes and basil to make a delicious soup and the rest of the veg was roasted with some herbs and added to the top of the flatbread . Yummy !! 🤤

Our gorgeous Japanese garden is finally finished..... the bench will be added in the back once it has been painted. 👏👏⛩⛩👏👏🏯🏯
A massive Thank you to the staff and pupils of International School of Zug and Luzern for not only raising the money to make this possible, but coming over and digging out the grass, laying the membrane, digging in the holes for the posts ( wow that was hard) , shovelling in loads of barrows of gravel , slate and woodchip and then sorting out the final pieces of the entranceway.
We will think of you all when we sit down and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this area . Your enthusiasm and energy were amazing and we cant wait to see you again next year ...
