Gleniffer Thistle are the only team with girls and ladies teams playing in the Paisley area, we are incredibly proud of that fact. We are now recruiting for our u14s and u16s teams. Come join us!

This week’s player profile is Jax. One of our superstars Jax can play upfront, midfield and defence equally comfortably. Brilliant on the ball and the hardest worker in the room. A future Celtic legend no doubt!

Unbelievable night celebrating Gleniffer Thistle Football Club at every age group at the Paisley Abbey. My big takeaway was just how dedicated and hard working our coaches are for our kids. Thank you for everything you do and all the sacrifices you make.

We’re incredibly proud of both Alfie and Sonny who have signed for Partick Thistle. We wish them the very best in their onward football journeys.

Coach Phil:

‘I have so many unbelievable memories of watching Sonny play, and he made my weekend on numerous occasions. Undoubtedly one of the most technically gifted boys at his age group.

Alfie came to us a little later and after he got to know me shouting like a mad man his progression has been outstanding over a relatively short period of time, add in his speed and hes a tremendous hard working winger with pace to burn.

Its exciting times for the boys but also a little sad to see them move on.
Both are welcome back anytime.

This weeks player profile is Blake. This boy is so good I nearly believe this video was real! A playmaker, goal scorer, brilliant passer and game management second to none!

One win, one draw and one loss this weekend in some hard fought fixtures. Everyone tried extremely hard with some great footy on show. On to next week! Players of the week Sonny, Alfie and Fionbharr and special mention to Ben and Harry for taking turns in goal.
