Mid Argyll SWI

20/10/2026

This evening around 30 members of Lochgilphead SWI enjoyed a very interesting talk on garden design from Amber Crawley, a lecturer at UHI and garden designer.
Amber explained the process behind planning a garden and showed us some photos of local gardens that she’s worked on. The photos are from Kilmartin castle.
Our competition table looked amazing with the seasonal display in a jam jar and the no bake fridge cake.
Grateful thanks to Amber for her time tonight and answering our members gardening queries.

Please share: We were proud to showcase our new anniversary branding revealed at the SWI Members' Gathering this past weekend. As we begin preparations for our celebrations next year, we're delighted to share it with you all.

A quick note for members: we will produce some branding guidelines on how to use it, in the next issue of Members' News, later this month.

We'll also be exploring merchandise options featuring the new branding, more on that in the future.
