📣 We’ve launched a new small grants scheme to help improve community facilities. 📣

Voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations across the borough can apply for a grant of between £3,000 and £20,000 to improve facilities that support residents and bring communities together.

Applications for a share of the £200,000 fund close on 2 November 2026.

The scheme builds on the success of the Council’s Community Asset Transfer and Support Programme, which has helped 25 organisations to take on community assets or with grants to improve them - including sports pavilions, scout huts and village halls.

• Help demonstrate the value of ESCIP’s first-year model

We’re interested in candidates with experience in community development, engagement, participation, research, service improvement, health, local government or partnership working. You do not need to have held a role with “community insight” in its title.
