Come to East Oxford Stay and Play tomorrow (Friday, 9-11am), it's free! And we have playdough, paints, sand, as well as these paper flowers for you and your little one to use in role play, pretend to buy, give to someone or smell! Or you can decorate them, count, scrunch, wave, or use them to talk about colour, shape or create your own...so many imaginative possibilities!

We are really looking forward to a visit on Friday 24th April, 9-11am from Carina Okiki who is a
Specialist Midwife for EDI from Oxford University Hospitals Trust

Carina is really looking forward to meeting women and says if anyone is unable to attend in person, they are very welcome to contribute by sending their thoughts or experiences to Stay and Play staff in advance.

We are particularly keen to hear about experiences (negative, neutral, or positive) relating to:
Antenatal education
Pain relief
Challenges when accessing services, including communication and feeling heard
We would also welcome any suggestions for change. Our patient experience lead will also be attending to listen, alongside Milica.

Thank-you to everyone who came to our fantastic Food Waste Action Week Takeaway! Thankyou to everyone who brought/sent something to share, helped out and took things away, too! We hope you all had a lovely time. It's such a good thing to eat leftovers, only buy what you need, it all helps to save the future of our planet as well as our pockets.
We'd love to hear any of your stories and recipes for using leftovers. I enjoyed some Bubble and Squeak last week, frying up leftover cabbage, potato and carrot!

Don't forget to bring a tub for our surplus food share tomorrow East Oxford Stay and Play (Friday 13th March, 9-11am) to help make food go fuuuuurrrtthher and reduce waste for Food Waste Action Week!

We are very grateful to Oxford Food Hub for their kind donation of surplus potatoes, onions, carrots, jars of beans and a box of yummy snack bars for this wonderful event. We have also got some colourful, non-plastic, hand-made, cotton bags to carry things home, too, but please bring your own, bags for life, and tubs if possible.

We are also inviting you to bring any surplus food you have at home or dishes to share, I know there will be lots of lovely food to take home for those of you who are fasting for Ramadan.
