We met up with this lovely lad, Chris, last Friday 🥰 we went over to meet him after he contacted us to say he had raised £130 for "Hug on a Tray" in memory of his beloved mum Anne Charlton, his much loved mum passed away recently, and Chris wanted to meet us personally to hand us this very kind donation. 🤗💕 XX
It's lovely to be able to meet people face to face those who do support us in any way, so it was a privilege and a pleasure to meet Chris and thank him personally. Bless you love, and may your beloved mum ' Rest in Peace' 🫂🙏XX

Fabulous!! The reclining chairs have arrived on both J88 and J89 Bexley Wing of St James's Hospital 😍🤗💕 we are awaiting a date when members of Otley Athletic Club can come over for a photo shoot! This amazing group raised more than £16,000 for Hug on a Tray (Cheverest) so we ordered chairs for sixteen of the wards! We are now amalgamated with "The Friends of the Leeds Centre for Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma" and this wonderful charity have matched that donation so every room will receive a brand new chair 💺 💺 the "Friends" have been going since 1979 and provided for the same patients as "Hug" all that time, we have been providing free TV provision for 9 years through them, and we couldn't be happier coming together as one, especially as every penny raised goes straight to benefit Haematology patients! Hug on a Tray continues as it always did except for the shop in Otley. The "Friends" have been brilliant! These lovely people from 'Club Energy' here in Otley very kindly had a raffle at the club recently and raised a fabulous £120 for "Hug on a Tray" 😍🤗💕🥰XX We have to keep saying just how blessed and fortunate we are to have so many wonderful supporters out there in our community 💖💖 Thank you so much for your kindness, your donation is really appreciated, sending you love and hugs ❤️🫂 from the 'Hug on a Tray' Girls! ### bless you all. 🥰🥰🥰###

Another lovely surprise for "Hug on a Tray" when Adrian from "Penine Plus" based in Kirkgate, Otley rang us to say that our name had been pulled out as the winner of a prize draw at the shop by Kathryn from Althams Travel 😍 £100 how fabulous is that!!
We would like to say ' Thank you so much' for this very kind gesture which is really appreciated! 🤗🤗
We are so fortunate and blessed by the amazing support we receive from our community 🥰🥰 and we will miss being in the shop, but very happy to be continuing the charity in the hospital, and popping up around town with our famous "Prize every time Tombola" dates and venue's coming up in a couple of days. What a fabulous surprise! 😍 Adam Jackson from "Plumbase" in Yeadon, sent a fabulous donation of more than £1,000 in January to the "Hug on a Tray" shop from their wonderful staff who have done fundraising events for us for the past few years! 🤗🤗💕💕 we would like to say a massive "Thank You" to every one of them, and to the customers who've supported and donated to all their efforts over the years! 🤗🤗😍😍 We filled in the "Big Cheque" a while ago! Then a couple of days ago, received another email to say they had raised more!! Hence the amount had to be changed from £1,100 to an amazing £2,100. 😲😲💖💖 we are extremely grateful and so appreciative of their ongoing support and sponsorship! Such a generous gesture, we are certainly blessed. 🫂🫂 Thank you again, sending, as always, love, hugs and blessings to you all.

"Hug on a Tray" 🤗🤗 it will be our last day of trading in Manor Square tomorrow 28th March. It's been an amazing four and a half years since we opened the shop, and it's been an absolute joy! filled with very happy memories, and wonderful events! 🎉🥳🎂🥰😍😘 We have met many lovely people full of love and kindness, and made lasting friendships. We will be reverting back to "Popping up" in the community, in various outdoor locations with the 'Prize every time Tombola' it's just the shop that's closing, we continue with the charity, and the hospital visits but without the time restrictions of running a shop! Last Saturday at the Hug on a Tray shop here in Otley we were very surprised when a couple walked in and wrote us a cheque for £680. This was money raised by family and friends at the funeral of Eric Birdsall, What a wonderful gesture. Nick, Eric's son, came over from Collingham to present us with this wonderful amount in his beloved dad's memory.
We are extremely grateful for this very kind and generous donation and on behalf of the patients that we support, and continue to support, we want to say 'Thank You' so much. We send heartfelt condolences to all Eric's family, may he Rest in Peace. 🩵🩵🩵💕💕🫂🫂 ### Sending many Blessings, love and hugs from all the girls. ###X
