Happy World 🌍 Thinking Day to all our amazing members and supporters!

Today we’re proudly flying the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) World Flag in the village as we celebrate this special occasion, and 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day! What an incredible milestone for our global Guiding and Scouting community.
World Thinking Day is a time to reflect on friendship, international unity, and the power of girls and young women to change the world for the better.

And a very Happy Founder’s Day (as it’s known in Scouts) to our friends at 15th Otford Scout Group we’re proud to celebrate alongside you today! 🎉

We chatted about and shared some brilliant wellbeing tips with Ted. Our favourites included meditation, reading, crafts, stroking a pet, being outside, colouring and doing puzzles.

A huge thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our stall at the Christmas Fayre! Despite the cold and rain, our incredible volunteers and Brownies showed true spirit and kept the festive cheer alive. ❄️🎄
We’re especially proud of our Brownies who helped run the stall—two of whom were lucky enough to meet Father Christmas himself! 🎅
A big thank you as well to the The Otford Society for organising such a fantastic day. We’re grateful to be part of such a warm and supportive community 💛

Our Brownies have been busy elves this week finishing off beautiful handmade Christmas tree decorations for our stall at the Otford Christmas Fayre on Saturday.🎄💛
From sparkly stars 🌟 to adorable reindeer and snowmen ⛄️ each decoration has been lovingly made by the Brownies and leaders.

Come and see us at the Otford Christmas Fayre 🎄

Our Brownies and amazing volunteers have been busy crafting beautiful handmade Christmas tree decorations, to sell at the Christmas Fayre! 💛

Come and say hello and pick up something festive, and support our unit at the same time. All proceeds will go towards funding activities, adventures and opportunities for our Brownies.

🌲🔥 Camp 2025 - The ‘S’mores Mystery’!🔥🌲

What an amazing time we had at Camp! After a weekend full of clues, challenges, and laughter, the girls finally discovered that the culprit who stole the s’mores was none other than… Snowy Owl! 🕵️‍♀️🍫🦉

Between solving the mystery, toasting real s’mores, singing around the campfire, exploring the woods and some cooking and cleaning duties, our Brownies had a weekend to remember at beautiful Paxwood.

A huge thank you to all our brilliant leaders and helpers for making the magic happen, and to our amazing Brownies for bringing their best detective skills and biggest smiles!

We’re already counting down the days to next year! 🏕️

Our Brownies have been busy spreading a little sunshine this week. They planted miniature daffodil bulbs ready to gift to the lovely elderly residents who attend the village over-60s lunch club.

It’s all part of Girlguiding London & South East England challenge — showing kindness, growing connections, and brightening our community, one bulb at a time! 💛
