Originally registered as a charity in 1966, we have been providing day care for older people at the Saxon Centre since 1982. Our vision is to offer a thriving and affordable day care centre, providing valued services to meet the demand of older people in the Orpington & District community. Our team of qualified carers, supported by volunteers, provides day care for clients who may be physically f

rail and/or have dementia and need a day out of their home environment, or whose carers need a day of respite. We work hard to provide an interesting and varied programme of activities so that clients can fully enjoy their day at the Saxon Day Centre and we continue to invest to ensure that these services will remain available to the wider community. Overall we strive to promote and encourage the wellbeing of the older members of our community throughout Orpington and the Orpington district to help to make their lives more secure, dignified and enjoyable.

Our team of qualified carers, supported by volunteers, provides day care for elderly clients who may be physically frail and/or have dementia and need a day out of their home environment, or whose carers need a day of respite.

We work hard to provide an interesting and varied programme of activities so that clients can fully enjoy their day at the Saxon Day Centre and we continue to invest to ensure that these services will remain available to the wider community. Overall we strive to promote and encourage the wellbeing of the older members of our community throughout Orpington and the Orpington district to help to make their lives more secure, dignified and enjoyable.
