13th Bromley Boys' Brigade

13th Bromley Boys' Brigade A youth organisation in Bromley that offers a large range of activities for children aged 5 - 18. Mary Cray our Girls’ Brigade Company.

Our Boys Brigade Company was originally formed in 1948 as the 13th Chislehurst and District Boys' Brigade, but in 1965 when the new Greater London Boroughs were created the name of the 13th Bromley Company appeared for the very first time. The Boys’ Brigade is an integral part of the youth work at the Temple United Reformed Church, together with the 1st St. The Boys’ Brigade seeks to encourage chi

ldren and young people from the age of five up to participate in activities which promotes the objectives of discipline, obedience and self-respect, which form part of the Boys' Brigade Object. The history of the 13th BB Company now spans eight decades, providing exciting and innovative activities for the young people from the Bromley area and beyond. These activities include the Duke of Edinburghs Award scheme, annual camp, sport competitions and our championships winning marching band, The Pacemakers Drum and Bugle corps. Links

Last Friday we were honoured to be a part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Award Celebration which was hosted by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace 🙌

Held on a beautiful sunny afternoon, it was a wonderful way of celebrating our Gold Award achievers, and recognising the efforts of several of our BB DofE leaders who were invited as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Well done to all of the award achievers, and thank you to all of our dedicated leaders for all that you do! 👏
