We are open to everyone who needs our support every Friday from 3pm.
We offer mental health and wellbeing support, a foodbank, and physical activities such as yoga and group walking. Every Saturday, we also train our young ones in “Skills for Life.
Together, we are joining efforts in the United Kingdom to tackle poverty in our communities.

A big thank you to MAC for approving our funding for the Live Well programme. Mayor of Greater Manchester

Your support has enabled us to share important health information and provide health checks within our community. We have also been sharing this information online to encourage people from Black and minority ethnic communities to take their health more seriously, especially in preventing sudden death caused by untreated high blood pressure and diabetes.

Thanks to this programme, another life was potentially saved on Friday. During one of our health checks, a participant had an extremely high blood pressure reading of 222. We immediately advised him to go to Accident and Emergency. Thankfully, he cooperated and went straight to the hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, his blood pressure reading was recorded as 211, and he is now receiving treatment.

This shows how important community health programmes like Live Well are. Without the support and funding from MAC, we would not have been able to provide these important checks and support for our community members.

Once again, we sincerely thank MAC for supporting this work and helping us protect and improve the health of people in our community.
