Day 3 of our three-week Ulster-Scots themed felting workshops where participants added the finishing touches to their felted sheep 🐑 and then worked with felting using napkins as the base 😊- we always like to try something new !

Everyone enjoyed the session and participated really well, furthering their techniques and exploring their creativity under the guidance of Andrea Hayes. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and engagement throughout the workshop while celebrating Ulster-Scots culture through art.

Special thanks to Andrea Hayes for facilitating the workshops, and to the Arts Council REAP funding for their support.

Watching the parade last night I was struck by the ages of some of the bands. Glenkeen 170, Craigywarren 111, my own band 70.... And many others.
And then of course every year you see new bands forming which is great!

📋So wee research exercise for me..... What year was your band formed in?

Comment below with your band name, town, year of formation and what lodge you lead on 12th of July!
