Today has been an important and emotional day, especially for those who have waited many years to share their experiences and finally be seen and heard for the horrific abuse they have endured.

KOGS is here for anyone affected by child sexual exploitation who may need support in the days and weeks ahead. Our team of counsellors and mentors can offer a safe, calm space to talk, reflect, and work through any fears or emotions that may arise.

We are a free, confidential, and impartial service, and our priority is to provide a supportive environment for anyone impacted by CSE.

There is lots of uncertainty at the moment and whilst we may not have the answers we can provide support and space for those impacted. DM or use our contact form on the website to connect with the team.

🔈 Your Voice Matters 🔈

There are many powerful ways to use lived experience to create change—and one of those is through research.

Jenny, a PhD researcher at Anglia Ruskin University, is conducting a confidential study to better understand how victim-survivors of sexual harm make the decision to disclose (or not disclose) what happened to them.

This research aims to improve how both formal and informal support systems respond to disclosures—making them more compassionate, trauma-informed, and truly supportive.

This week, our Community Committee organised a hygiene collection in support of our chosen charity, Keeping Our Girls Safe, (KOGS).

As we approach the summer holidays, it’s vital that young girls have access to basic essentials such as deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. To help, colleagues were encouraged to pick up a few extra items during their weekly shop to support the KOGS initiative.

A huge thank you to our Community Committee for arranging the collection, and to KOGS for the incredible work they do within our local community.
