Across the UK, local LGBTQ+ venues and community spaces are closing at an alarming rate. When these spaces disappear, our community loses more than just places to socialise we lose sate hubs for support, expression, and connection.

We are committed to creating accessible, inclusive spaces right here in our town so no one feels isolated.

it’s a year-round commitment to keeping our local community safe, connected, and visible.

While progress has been made, local LGBTQ+ spaces, resources, and events remain vital for so many people in our area. Having a visible Pride right here on our doorstep ensures everyone has a place where they belong.

A LITTLE CHANGE OF PLAN

The wind has certainly made its presence known today, so we’ve had to make a small change and move indoors.

You’ll now find us just inside the Indoor Market, where we’ll still be serving a lovely selection of cakes and sweet treats.

So if you’re visiting the Vintage Festival today, pop inside, take a break from the wind and come and see us.

The weather may have changed, but the vintage spirit is still going strong!

Join us for a fabulous 1940s-style “Time for Tea” as part of Nostalgic Oldham! 🇬🇧✨

Come along, soak up the vintage vibes and enjoy a good old-fashioned cuppa, with tea, coffee, delicious cakes and biscuits 🍰🍪 — all while supporting two fantastic local causes: Oldham Pride and Oldham Street Angels. ❤️

🎩👗 Whether you fancy dressing up in your best 1940s style or simply want to come along and enjoy the fun, everyone is welcome!

Oldham By Night I love Oldham

Manchester pride is back in the Village and Proud this August.

Spanning from FRI 28 AUG to SAT 29 AUG through to SUN 30 AUG and finishing on MON 31 AUG.

On Friday 28th is The Launch and the Village opens its arms.

On Saturday 29th is The Parade & Party, marching for equality. Party in the Village.
Sunday 30th

The Party Continues with Q***r arts, culture & performances across the Village.

Finally Monday 31th is the Community & Family Day.
The Vigil for the Community, Family & Remembrance.

Oldham Pride is able to offer a number places in the parade tomorrow: sadly the weather forecast is looking like it'll be brolly weather and Fifi's coat isn't all that waterproof yet so whilst our big pink mascot can't sing in the rain we certainly will be doing so.
