🏉 Congratulations to Okehampton Under-8s! 🏉

Okehampton District Roundtable would like to say a huge well done to the Okehampton Under-8s rugby team for their fantastic performance at the tournament in Barnstaple this weekend!

We’re incredibly proud to have supported such a brilliant group of young players as one of their sponsors, helping them make the trip. It’s great to see their hard work, teamwork, and enthusiasm paying off on the pitch.

Good evening all,

This is is regarding our swimming voucher give away.

We have been asked a few times when the vouchers are valid until, And now we can confirm the vouchers are valid until the 25th JULY 2026.

Keep an eye out on this page for events we have coming up.

If you have a husband, partner, son or brother aged between 18-45 years old & they are getting under your feet feel free to send them our way.

We promise to have them back in one piece..!

Yesterday we finally got stuck in and completed our Big Spring Clean litter pick!

We had Roundtable members, wives & children helping out.

We chose to do our litter pick in Simmons Park & what a beautiful day it was to do it.

All started with a hearty breakfast in town, And ended with a lovely cup of coffee & cake

Over the last 3 days, a young man from our community has done something truly incredible.

Bodie Carter has just completed a 100 MILE walk around Dartmoor.
Not for fun. Not for recognition.
But to earn his place on a life-changing expedition to Peru, where he’ll help real communities with conservation and sustainable projects.

Let that sink in…

👉 100 miles
👉 3 days
👉 Across Dartmoor

And this is just the latest chapter.

For months, Bodie has been out there grinding — hosting coffee mornings, organising fundraisers, putting in the hours — doing everything he can to make this dream a reality.

No shortcuts. No handouts. Just pure determination.

That is something special.

In a world where it’s easy to ask, Bodie chose to work for it.
And that’s why we believe he deserves all the support we can give.

LOCAL CHALLENGE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW - Please show your support?
Bodie, a 17-year-old from Hatherleigh, is walking The Dartmoor Way - around 100 miles around Dartmoor in just 3 days to fund a four-week community expedition to Peru with Camps International. He's out there on the moor today – Day 2!
He's aiming to work alongside local communities in Peru's Sacred Valley on real conservation and sustainable development projects. As Bodie puts it: "This isn't a holiday – it's a hands-on mission."

What a brilliant evening..!

Great evening at Battle Bar in Exeter for some Axe throwing, Safe to say its alot harder than it looks, lots of laughter (mainly at eachothers poor attempts) , a few beers & food after made for a memorable one...

What a great night!!!

Great company and it was nice to host the Tavistock Round Table (great bunch of guys!) Even though they did beat us so well done!! Finished up with a few beers and a bite to eat at the local to top of the evening.

❓❓❓What is Round Table❓❓❓

✅Yes - we are just an average group of guys looking to get out of the house once or twice a month, do different things and escape from the pressures of everyday life!

❌No - there is no special criteria. Events are always affordable, and you don’t have to make every event.

✅ Yes - new members are always welcome. All men aged 18-45 can join. Events are midweek too, so they don’t clash with family time or other friendships.

❌No – It’s not just men, women can join our sister organisation here - There are over 40 clubs too - , 😀👍

✅Yes – we also give back to the community now and then and have a great laugh doing it.
