A few weeks ago, Jenna emailed me telling me of the tragic loss of her baby daughter Lottie. She has never met me. She felt the magnitude of the work that I had started at The Luca Foundation in memoryof my son whom we didn't have a CuddleCot for more time.
Jenna and Joe were given the opportunity to use a CuddleCot repaired by the Luca Foundation to spend more time with Lottie Mae.
At her memorial service, and through friends and family who wanted to support them, they asked for donations to come to The Luca Foundation in memory of their beautiful daughter. In memory of Lottie Mae, Jenna, Joe, and their friends and family have raised £2,820.
To all of those who clicked gift-aid, please know that that gift-aid part that comes from the government helps us run the charity to do exactly this type of work for bereaved parents like Jenna and Joe. For all of you who managed to have some time with Lottie 💜
Jenna has asked her local hospitals if they would like a new cuddle cot in memory of Lottie. However, they already said they have enough. The money raised will be dedicated to CuddleCot repairs across the country for those parents that need it desperately at the worst time of their lives.
