This week I visited 10th Mansfield Scout Group Squirrel.
They learnt all about compass points before looking and learning about equipment the would need for hikes and camps. Everyone had lots of fun!

Today we celebrate the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell.

To our brilliant Squirrels – thank you for your energy, curiosity, teamwork and those huge smiles every week. You may be small, but you are mighty, and you are the future of Scouting!

Keep trying new things, helping your friends and having fun along the way.

And to our fantastic Squirrel Teams – thank you for the time, care and enthusiasm you give. You make the magic happen, creating fun, safe adventures and helping our youngest members grow in confidence every single week.

I had a lovely visit with 5th Mansfield Squirrel this week. They made pancakes and celebrated all their awards with their families. A big congratulations to the four Acorn awards !
