We had a a fabulous time last night inside the Auriga Star Dome learning about planets and the solar system.
We were having such a good time we didn’t manage to capture any pictures.

Don’t forget to hunt out some plates, cups and saucers for our next meeting on 24th May Tea Time Transformations.
The Salvation Army charity shop in Chilwell, the old Lidl shop, usually has a good selection, there is also an antique shop next to the tram stop at Toton Lane.

Stars will be shining for you guaranteed! Come and join us - non members and guests welcome for £6 fee payable at the door.

Our pop up planetarium will be inflated and ready to go. Clear sky's awaits... and a glass of wine or cup of tea, alongside friendly chatter and laughter

Under the night sky ✨️

Our May meeting is written in the stars ... quite literally! We have a pop up planetarium and an expert on our solar system to guide us through the constellations.

Join us 8pm - 10pm. Chilwell Memorial Hall. Wednesday 27th May.

Pop up planetarium ❤️. Our May meeting is The Sky at Night.

8pm - 10pm Chilwell Memorial Hall. All welcome. No need to be a member Come along if you fancy it. Or you what to give us a try.

We will give you a warm welcome over a glass of wine and under the night sky.

Non members and guests £6 payable on the door. Refreshments available for a donation.

Beeston WI are welcoming members old and new! Come and join this friendly women's group.

We meet the last Wednesday of each month at Chilwell Memorial Hall. 8pm - 10pm. We have a fun and educational theme each month. We pride ourselves on a programme which will have something for everyone and make you curious about whats in store!

Our May meeting is Wednesday 27th. 8pm at Chilwell Memorial Hall.

The Sky at Night 🌙 ✨️ We have a pop up planetarium to explore the constellations. We will be guided through the night sky by an expert astronomer. Discover what is right before our eyes... and we don't even have to wait for the clouds to clear.

Guests and non members welcome for £6 fee payable at the door. We are still welcoming new membership also. We would love you to join us.

Usual friendly chatter, refreshments and laughter. We cannot wait to see you.

What a way to start our 2026/27 programme. We welcomed The Hoop Guy - John Parnell to teach us to hula hoop!

A potted history of how the humble hoop became a children's favourite and dance craze. He showed off his Britain's Got Talent skit ... including those 'rude' moves which impressed the judges 🤣🤣 Thank you for a such a fun evening.

Then it was over to us! Beeston WI's Got Talent... and we certainly did! We smashed it. Hoops were flying everywhere.

Thanks to our members for joining in with such enthusiasm, thank you to our guests and new members for giving us a whirl. We hope to see you again next month ❤️
