✨ Catwalk stars! ✨

Today Mansfield Inner Wheel took a trip to the Sewdirect show at. Alexandra Palace to appear on the Inner Wheel Catwalk Show: A showcase of colour.

Our very own President Nicola sashayed down the Inner Wheel GB catwalk in her showstopping dress, lovingly made from Inner Wheel scarves! This stunning creation won 1st prize at the IW conference earlier on this year.

🧵👗 Well done, Nicola! 💛

Inner Wheel's motto is "Service and Friendship", and yesterday it was the friendship half that took centre stage!

A group of us headed off to Nottingham Playhouse for an afternoon at the theatre, and a meal at Browns Restaurant afterwards.🎭🍽️

It was a lovely reminder that friendship is at the heart of what we do as well as raising money for our chosen and local charities!! 💖

What a great night we had at our new venue, Mansfield Town Football Club last Wednesday. We also had Tracey Davenport from Mansfield NSPCC talk about there work and our club president Nicola de Lucis presented a cheque for £1000.

Our new district president Lynda Wallace gave a lovely introduction to herself and her life and introduced the 55things initiative to raise money for her charities this year.

Please message if you are interested in seeing what inner wheel is all about!

It’s that time of year when we handover the presidency of Mansfield Inner Wheel.

A huge thank you to our outgoing President, Dain Pinder for her wonderful leadership over the past twelve months, and give a very warm welcome to our new President, Nicola De Lucis as she takes up the reins.

Here’s to another year of friendship, fun and fundraising with Mansfield Inner Wheel Club! 🎉

Mansfield Inner Wheel Club recently swapped its usual meeting format for something altogether more glamorous, as members took to the catwalk at the Oakham Suite for a fabulous charity fashion show featuring clothes supplied by our very own Julia Brown at VB Style.

Members and friends did the honours as models for the evening, showcasing a stunning mix of styles to suit every occasion — from relaxed beachwear, daywear to elegant evening wear — and it’s fair to say they took to the catwalk like seasoned professionals!

The evening was rounded off with a raffle which raised an incredible £700, making the night not only a whole lot of fun but a hugely successful fundraiser too.

The proceeds (which are still to be finalised) will be shared between some very worthy local causes — NSPCC Mansfield, Jerry Green, NiDAS and Muddled Mines — and a huge thank you goes to Julia at VB Style for dressing us so beautifully, and to everyone who bought raffle tickets and helped set up the event.
